About me
I'm fluent in the Blackfoot language; it is my first language. I'm from the Kainai tribe and a survivor of St. Mary's residential school. I've recently retired from the Kainai board of education. I taught for 25 years. I taught at the Cutswood school, a Blackfoot language emersion, in Browning, Montana for 9 years. I received my teacher degree from the University of Montana. I taught at Aahsaopi elementary on the Blood Reserve, and I was at KBE admin office as assistant to Blackfoot Language and Culture Co Ordinator, for 4 years. Since retirement I have taken jobs translating some literature into Blackfoot.
