About me
Kelly Fahey is an educator and teacher mentor with a Master’s Degree in Leadership Education who shifts the curriculum to the outdoors for place-based pedagogy. She managed an outdoor education center - Arundel Nature and Science Centre, regularly develops outdoor pedagogy, transformed school yards, was a Learn Quebec outdoor panelist, promoter of outdoor learning through provincially held workshops and working groups, Teacher Advisor to Take Me Outside (TMO), and newly nominated to be Quebec Regional Coordinator for the Outdoor Learning Mentorship Program of TMO, to name a few. When not adventuring in a forest or paddling on a lake, she practices at Morin Heights Elementary, SWLSB, located in the Quebec Laurentians and situated on the traditional territory of the Anishinabewaki, Algonquin, and Mohawk people.
