About me
Jennifer Engbrecht was thrilled to have the opportunity to present about learning in nature through music and the arts in 2024, and is so happy to return this year in 2025. Jennifer has been infusing various subject areas into music classes for many years - especially the environment, nature, and science. After teaching music outside for an entire school year, her philosophy of teaching music was transformed to include learning outside as an inspiration for musical learning for her students, as well as music and arts as an inspiration for how to communicate to the hearts of others. Jennifer is an Orff trained music teacher of 25+ years with experience in dance, drama and art. Jennifer enjoys learning so much about outdoor learning through many courses with The Outdoor Learning Store. Jennifer is of settler and Métis heritage, as a Citizen of the Manitoba Métis Federation.
