About me
Haley (she/her) is a passionate and experienced environmental educator and program manager who resides in unceded Mi'kma'ki, land of the Mi’kmaq people. She completed her undergraduate degree in Environmental Science and her Masters in Environmental Education & Communications, and has worked in academia, nature interpretation, project management, public engagement, and improvisational theatre. Haley is a published social science researcher, has coordinated pan-Canadian projects and initiatives with multi-level stakeholders, and has worked in community-based nature interpretation centers with diverse audiences. As Manager of Education and Engagement at Clean Foundation, Haley oversees a range of projects and programs aimed at empowering youth, supporting educators, and expanding public awareness of climate change impacts and solutions. Her current interests include learning to slow down, honing her gardening skills, and a good, silly game of ultimate frisbee.
