About me
Frances has been working as an educator connecting people to nature since her first job as a naturalist in 1996 at the Scout Island Nature Centre. Her experience as a naturalist along with training through her BEd, MEd (Counselling) and BSc in Environmental Science along with a passion for connecting people to place heavily informs her practice. Frances has mentored educators across BC, but especially in her district, by leading inquiry groups and sharing her variety of experiences connecting people to the natural world through Pro-d. She currently works as a Grade 7 teacher in Williams Lake BC where she is outdoor weekly with her students.
