About me
I am a graduate student in the Master of Arts in Canadian and Indigenous Studies program at Trent University in Peterborough, Ontario. My research focuses on the implementation of land-based pedagogy into environmental education specifically within Ontario with the goal of increasing students’ capacity to enter into land based relationships. I am a big believer in the words of Robin Wall Kimmerer who says that as humans we have a responsibility to seek out reciprocal relationships with the more-than-human world and I hope to foster that sense of connection to the land among students.
